The film industry is a galaxy. Where many stars come shines and then ends. But there are some stars in them which are always shining. Like Venus Kishore Kumar is the same Venus of Bollywood. As soon as we hear the name of Kishore Kumar, born on August 4, 1929, Abhas Kumar Ganguly, we get confused as to how he should be remembered. He was an actor, singer, director, producer, music director, lyricist and above all a wonderful person. So the confusion is inevitable. His life was very fun. But his sufferings were not less. The same sorrow that he kept hidden from the whole world, inside a cheerful facade. Kishwa Kumar, born in Khandwa in Madhya Pradesh, was very fond of his birthplace and this was known to everyone around him. That's why he felt very lonely in Bombay. He also had no friends.
The whole world used to call him crazy.
During an interview, a journalist asked him that you do not go to any party, nor does anyone come to your bungalow. So you don't feel lonely? To this, Kishore Kumar replied that he was called insane. Kishore Kumar said, 'No, I don't feel alone at all. I have befriended these trees and plants in my house. They are named. I talk to him only. 'On his answer, that magazine called him' Mad Man '. In response to which many people repeat the said words of Kashore Kumar. Kishore said 'The world says I am crazy and I say the world is mad'. With this statement, he put the result of his life in front of the people.
Kishore Kumar was very unperturbed in childhood,
it is said about Kumar that he never took any training for singing. Despite this, he remained the top singer of Bollywood for a long time. Regarding this, his elder brother Ashok Kumar says that as a child, the voice of a teenager was like a torn bamboo, but once his foot fell on a vegetable cutting scythe. Wound in leg. In the treatment, the doctor did not know how Kishore Kumar kept crying for 2-3 days. Just in the weeping of those days, his throat got cleared.
Kishore Da never wanted to act.
Kishore Kumar never wanted to act. He was a fan of Kundan Lal Sehgal and wanted to sing like him. But his elder brother Ashok Kumar, who had become a big name in Bollywood by then, asked him to do some acting as well. But Kishore was not at all serious about it. Therefore, whenever he was taken in a film at the behest of Ashok Kumar, he would avoid acting by making a maneuver. Once Kishore Kumar was supposed to shoot the scene with his brother Ashok Kumar for the film 'Bhai-Bhai'. Kishore started his game again. But this time his brother Ashok Kumar was in front of him, so his pulses could not melt. Then he pretended to forget the dialog and started running out of the scene. But Ashok Kumar was also Ashok Kumar, he put his foot on both legs of Kishore Kumar and did not even give him a chance to move. Then this scene could be shot somewhere.
He has a lot of stories to avoid acting, but this one is the most special because it happened to Dev Anand. Ashok Kumar and Dev Anand were working together in a film. If an actor was needed for a scene in that film, Ashok Kumar told Kishore that there is a scene, please do it. Ashok Kumar gave him a brief and said that as soon as Dev comes in, you have to listen to him. Kishore nodded yes. But as soon as the scene began and Dev Anand came in, Kishore Kumar really abused him and ran away. Director producers kept shouting that the scene is not complete. But Kishore Kumar just ran away.
In bad times, no one supported Kishore Kumar,
he was a very happy person. But he was very angry with those who had rebuked him for asking for work in the initial days. When the teenagers came to Bombay, they were considered very incompetent and vagabond. He felt that his elder brother is an actor, so he also went back and forth. Many people also advised him to return to Khandwa and refused to work. These things remained in Kishore Kumar's heart till the end. Kishore Kumar felt that these people meet him only for wealth and fame. When they do not have all this, then they will start behaving in the same manner again. And unfortunately his statement turned out to be correct.
After a period when Kishore Kumar stopped working and some of his income tax remained unpaid. To fill it, they had to do stage shows. Nobody gave him any work in that period. Neither in acting, nor for singing. S.D. came forward to help him in that period. Burman. Kishore Kumar and S.D. People loved Burman's pair a lot. So Burman told Kishore that let's do a small project together. A new boy was being launched from that film. All the songs for that film were recorded in Kishore Kumar's voice and the album became a super-duper hit. The film was 'Aradhana'. After that film, Bollywood got its first superstar in the form of Rajesh Khanna. After that, Kishore got an influx of offers.
The first choice for the film "Anand" was not Rajesh Khanna but Kishore Kumar.
Kishore Kumar was the first choice of director Hrishikesh Mukherjee for Rajesh Khanna's film Anand. But due to a misunderstanding, that film came out of Kishore Da's hand. It happened that Kishore Kumar had a fight with a Bengali director, then he told his guard that if a Bengali came to his house, then he should be scolded. The same day, Hrishikesh Mukherjee went to meet Kishore Kumar and Kishore Da's guards drove him away, calling them good and bad. Hrishikesh Mukherjee was very angry with this and he gave up the idea of taking Kishore Kumar in his film and signed Rajesh Khanna.
Kishore Kumar died on Ashok Kumar's birthday,
Kishore Kumar had a grand party plan on the 76th birthday of his elder brother Ashok Kumar. The entire Bollywood was sent an invitation. Kishore Kumar's son Amit was coming from London after completing his studies. It meant a full celebratory atmosphere. Preparations were going on loudly. But who knew that the Bollywood who was about to attend Ashok Kumar's birthday preparations would have to attend Kishore Kumar's will on the same day. On 13 October 1987, at 04:45 in the evening, Kishore Kumar suffered a heart attack and died at his residence Gauri Kunj. This was really a big shock for Bollywood. Nobody had any idea about this. But who has avoided Honi. Kishore Kumar wished that his last rites be performed in his village Khandwa. That's what happened. Today he has a tomb in Khandwa of Madhya Pradesh and the state government gives this honor to outstanding people of art in the name of Kishore Kumar every year.
